What is the end use of reclaimed styrofoam anyway? Assuming there’s a recycling process available, who buys styrene of any kind and what is it used for?

Kitchen doctrine is to never purchase things that require printed images to function. It will always come off, likely the first and only flaw.

Sorry again, not obvious. Theft?

Sorry, no idea about ease. Rubber biscuits!

Ha! I went looking for the website of the local bar I mentioned—not a self-serve—because I wondered if it was more than local. Turns out there are nineteen across Canada, so they’ve probably reached the point where they can fund new locations and withstand immediate losses; just keep hanging more junk from the walls

You lost me. Do you mean self-serve taprooms tend to be large franchises?

Now that I read the article the way it was intended I can’t pretend to interpret it like I did on my first pass. Sorry for sounding like a dolt.

Why is a pearl potentially worth thousands, then low chances of any serious cash in the next breath? Deserves a comment.

That’s amazing, as long as a bartender can alter things for thought-out reasons. However, the required interaction sounds more labourious and time consuming than just serving and watching the tabs.

Yeah, atmosphere, traffic, and rumours required for a startup bar or restaurant, and the best still seem to rise and fall too fast as fashion and attention move on. Maybe critiques help, any news being good news.

Yeah, I’m trying to skirt that topic because it would be so regional and varied.

Did you visit?

Didn’t mean to imply free by using the word sample, only wondering if the first ounce cost the same as the last so it wouldn’t discourage small volumes.

I avoided joking about this, but it would be somewhat self-policing if I was too legless to walk or handle the tap.

Interesting. I see limitless potential for playing with the digital presence, stuff like designated drivers, entertainment, group discounts, timed events. Every pour could be a different price based on many variables, separate from a passive wristband. Flooding with too many ideas.

Do you mean there’s a fixed surcharge to hit the tap, plus a per-ounce price tacked on top?

Yes, sometimes “print recipe” solutions can be ugly as formatted, but they’re better than printing a web page to file. I’ve tried saving web pages as code but it’s unreliable when dynamic elements go missing, and a dogpile of bookmarks slowly loses it’s soul as sites and pages vanish or reformat paths. I even tried

I did not know that and plead ignorance, regardless of how to get it clean.

You seem incredibly spiteful, just plain often.

I think this is the only food site I visit that puts up recipes without a print function.
