Reasons to upgrade/build a PC:
Fair enough. I'm starting to think that in five years, Kinja will simply be a bunch of random words on flashing, warbling boxes that move past the screen in a semi-random pattern.
For god's sake, don't make them think they need to re-model again! I can't handle any more overhauls... it just gets worse every time!

I've found that white noise often gets me into the zone more than anything else. On several occasions I've been working on a complex or challenging project and found that six straight hours have passed without a single sound other than the whir of a fan or rain against a window. I don't own any Blu-Ray disks. I don't even think I've even bought any physical media for the last... wow, four years. To me, it's already dead. Hell, it barely even took a single breath.
I put 300 hours into Dark Souls. I'm about 50 into Dark Souls II. I like Dark Souls II better. It has become my favorite game. I'm not going to bother explaining why, because all of those reasons are extremely subjective.
If you're asking what the most influential and significant contribution to PC gaming is, the answer is going to be Steam. If you're asking what the second-most influential and significant blah blah blah is... well, that's the question, isn't it?
