Good thing we’re not asking Lockheed-Martin to handle health care.

I still own my 20 year old Celica GT-S. At 377,000 miles, oil changes and brake fluid are the one thing I have done religiously. Otherwise, I’ve been pretty hands off, a minor fluid change here or there. I honestly think I’ve never even had to change the rear turn signal bulbs. This car is freaking bulletproof and…
Ah - you’re right I have had that wrong all this time, thanks.
New Civics have a knob. They unfortunately took out the touch controls on the steering wheel volume rocker which I loved.
I don’t think you understand what a final drive ratio is bud.
“Come try our new Improbable Chicken!”
this is truly the dumbest take. Just unhinged. Well done.
“What irks me is the absolute and total disrespect for a police officer who, instead of being home with family and enjoying a meal and a football game, is patrolling his little town...”
Sorry, but physics and math are not with you on that one. HOV lanes are a thing only in areas with congestion. And in areas with congestion, lane changing, differential speeds between vehicles (and lanes) causes more congestion (due to unexpected braking rippling through the lanes, or worse, accidents). In Germany,…
I’ve been considering getting a Switch for Christmas this year, but I’ve been finding it very difficult to justify as a multiplatform gamer. The library seems surprisingly small for how long it’s been out. A lot of dud experiments, and re-releases for games that came out on other consoles years ago.
Um, this is blatantly false. But sure..
You keep telling yourself youre right, im sure by pure chance youll actually be correct one day.
ugh, this is not a good take man. I know everyone on this website believes that they are Senna but come the fuck on. Higher speed limits are well correlated with fatalities. Im not saying that speed limits need to be glacial in the middle of nowhere but this aint it.
Wrong, this has been studied extensively. Speed limits have almost no effect on actual speeds. The range of speeds that the majority of motorists find safe and comfortable has nothing to do with the number on a sign and everything to do with the context of the road, traffic, and prevailing conditions.
Residential and city streets, the speed has to be low. Too many things like kids around.
I’m kinda torn because some speed limits are low specifically to generate cash flow via speeding tickets. At the same time raising the speed limit gives people justification/comfort to do 7-10mph over the limit. If we follow the logic of always setting the speed limit to what traffic does then the speed limit will…
Sigh. Hang out at an intersection for 30 minutes, out of your car.
Regular cyclists are healthier and generally require less health care than more sedentary people
