That’s why you need the comment heros like me to set them straight down here.

This isnt a call to destroy all of the highways in the country. The point is to eliminate them needlessly passing right through the hearts of downtowns (looking at you 20/59 currently being completely reconstructed through Birmingham, AL) which creates physical and, weirdly enough, often economic barriers which divide

So did my S2000. What’s your point?

The actual water cooled 911

Two things. First is this isn’t just a racist group, it goes well beyond that. And second is that authoritarians, fascists, are deeply invested in police and military simply by virtue of might-makes-right politics of ultranationalism.

Yeah this is exactly it; reading this thread makes me feel like I’m taking crazy pills as there is no buyer for this car. If you have $4k cash in hand you are not buying a 30 year old wagon when you can get something with similar miles in similar condition that was made this century for the same price. You need to

It’s worth maybe $2,500 at best. It’s a 30-year-old Honda with 160k miles on it. It’s too old to be a kid’s first car, it’s not rare enough to be collectible...at $4k you can get a much nicer, more modern people-mover (and even a wagon, at that).

This was my first car, albeit in manual coupe trim. I got it in 1999, and it cost less then. Like, was a $1k car in good condition back then. Sure, it’s in great shape. But you’re still looking at a nearly 30 year old car that wasn’t anything special back in its day. Cut the price in half and we’ll talk, but for $4k,

To the current owner: this car is not rare. I don’t know what makes you think it is, my friend, but you are mistaken.

Exactly. My executive manager, who makes $190k annually + bonuses was boasting about his$120k Tesla tax break. Meanwhile us peasants would never be able to benefit from it.

How about a tax break for buying a fuel efficient car?  Or a tax refund for keeping a fuel efficient car for 10 years?  I can think of a million

Are the credits needed to help the EV market or has it matured?

Are gti owners this inscure

It’s never really made sauces taste *worse* to me, but it often just adds too much heat with no real reward of flavor, I guess?

Neutral: Who cares?

Honda gave everyone a  250hp, 2.0L Turbo Manual in the 2018 Accord.  No one showed up.

No, there is a problem: there is no infrastructure for scooters. Like bikes, they are not supposed to be ridden on the sidewalks. But most people are too scared (rightly so) to ride in the street, so they just ignore the law.

They pointed out that they were pescatarian, then tried to explain that in friendlier terms. A pescatarian eats fish, but no other meat.

Why can’t you just be chill about words that indicate the expectation? The amount of indignation people gin up about this just feels so childish to me. It’s food. Calm down.

I don’t see why “mostly vegetarian” can’t just be something people call themselves without both the vegan and the meat-loving crowds calling them lying misguided bastards. If you make an effort not to eat meat most of the time, that seems accurate to me.

Why are there electric cars? Surely the first car ran on a petro product.
