Why?

20 points so far. He’s on 40 point pace, and an all-star. Pretty funny, actually.

You make good points, but I don’t necessarily agree with them. The eye test still counts for something in a data-driven world, and it’s noticeable in a lot of games that teams aren’t going all in for the win when it’s tied late in the third. Sure, there is benefit to preventing those in your conference from gaining an

The competition wouldn’t change, it would just give teams that win their games in regulation more points.

The bonus point really sucks. I have wanted a 3, 2, 1 point system for forever, but the NHL will never do it. They are obsessed with 2 points for a win. 3 points should be given out per game. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me.

Exactly. I am Canadian, and don’t want to come off as bitter at all. That game was just awesome! I would have loved to see them continue playing until somebody could get a goal in 5-on-5 hockey.

I have never hated on the shootout in NHL regular season (there are better ways, but butts in seats or whatever, I get it), but to decide a gold medal or championship with a different game than the one being contested is pretty ridiculous.

It would have been awesome if the win had been decided by playing hockey.

Except for the 5 trophies they’ve won in the past 50 years.

The number of sentences — in each argument — that will start with “well, I read the books long before the show even started...”

I mostly agree with you, however I was really looking forward to people hating both endings and talking about how much they hate each one for forever.

This is correct. 4 and 5 were both sequels to 3. 6 will be a sequel to 4 and 5.

Kid’s good.

+1

Because New York > Detroit.

What’s so horrible about that? Lions <3

A Lions game rated 5 throwgasms? Don’t see that every day.

hahaha

The taste, mostly.

Completely agree, the goals are impressive. We’ve also never really seen a good player stay the same from the time they’re 18-25 or 26, so very excited to see what type of player he turns into. He will surely keep scoring goals, but if he develops those other parts of his game he could be a huge superstar.
