i agree that 99% of the time it would be pointless. But 1% of the time it would be helpful, and the thing probably costs 1 cent to make (stylus). The device probably has multitouch still, so i could see the stylus appealing to a niche market.

and for those of you with only 17 seconds to spare here's the gist of it

i have to admit, i like the stylus on my tablet, it makes taking notes easier.

they do lay on you. the first thing i do when i'm playing xbox and don't feel like getting up to go get a blanket is call my cat (who comes about 75% of the time).
