Yea i find it fascinating that they aren't as fascinated by the cultures around them as we are. Then again, the deep south might not be that interesting to a yankee, but that may intrigue a euro. So who knows. I sure don't, i just chalk it up to another cultural difference and continue to be fascinated by it.

agreed, but don't forget that the US is quite large and many of them can't afford to travel the distance that would get them to another culture. In europe, you take an hour drive and bam you're in a country w/ completely new language and different culture. Over here, you drive for 10 hours and you've barely made it

i understand that it's different, thanks.

Espresso by definition is coffee that is brewed under pressure. Moka pots do this. Also, one can pretty easily find manual espresso presses (so assuming you boil the water on the stove it to could be considered a stove top espresso machine in my book). Someone in the comments pointed out a brand / device called a

lol i love this

unless its fully automatic (portioning, grinding, pressing, the beans fresh each time), i'm not interested. A stove top espresso maker works and is much cheaper than 300. If its going to cost 300, i'd rather spend a grand to get an automatic machine (like the juras)

if they are going to start charging for calls then they better let us create multiple new lines and add some other features as well. man i'll be so screwed when they start charging...

i have indeed. I love bagels and cake. I just couldn't eat a whole one w/o any schmear.

i live in missouri, but i am a dj and very into europop/dance etc. also, i have a crazy fetish for germany and austria. Wife and I got married in Austria.

every morning i look around for interesting articles on giz, this morning there were a ton, but this is the first i'm commenting on so far.

i'm so hungry... but i still dont think i could eat plain bread/bagels.

i'm pretty sure this video is aimed to bring in some investors. I mean the box pouring out money was a reeeeally subtle *cough). And they sure do a great job showing that they are using out dated equipment. Just think what they could do with a bit of an investment!

haha i don't know how america could cope with such a shortage. i mean i think we rationed it during the war, but i can't think of a single american dish that isn't better with butter.

hahaha that's pretty good

its still pretty big though... i mean mercury isn't going to fit my pocket. what are the explanations left? It's the magnetic poles or aliens is about all i can see now right?

cache?

haha mine too

LOL i dunno why that cracked my shit up.

awesome idea, i like it a ton!
