It must reeeeeaaaaallllyyyyy eat at these clods that everyone against them thinks they’re very, very stupid. Like, beyond stupid. They fancy themselves as super smart, and the adulation of the people that voted for cheetopuff doesn’t mean anything to them because they know that those people are idiots.

I am very certain reporters roll their eyes at Spicy on the reg

I’ve been doing it for months. I don’t understand why Cooper just started.

“...their version of events...”

I love how right wing women weaponize sexism. Fuck them, they voted trump, they couldn’t give less of a shit about women who aren’t white and rich, and even then they’re disposable.

I mean, it’s so simply. People’s faces can only be stoic for so long when confronting lying fools.

Yeah, I think he might. I see this as an erosion of self-control that comes of dealing with mendacious liars (of which the Trump admin has many). I assume that most of them roll their eyes at Spicer hourly. And some shake their heads...

You think it was better when we were all just countryside peasants ignorant of how the government was largely run due to lack of means for spreading news? On one hand, we all need to know this stuff, but on the other, I’m not entirely sure I want to know it.

I disagree that it’s a matter of “comfort.” Instead, I think the difference between Spicer and Sanders is that Spicer seems to actively want to win arguments with his lies, whereas Sanders knows that repeating the talking points without trying to cudgel the press corps into submission is way less hassle.

Politico reporter Josh Dawsey tweeted a similar sentiment: “Sarah Sanders parries, spins and obfuscates, too. But she’s not condescending and seems comfortable at the podium doing it.”

I’m not sure the Russians would’ve helped Cruz nearly as much as they helped Clinton, who was actually on her way towards winning the election until ( gasp) all those emails and documents got dumped by the Ruskies the second that nasty video of Trump surfaced. So no- not just “anyone” would’ve beat Clinton. Both Trump

The precious optics! If he’d been fired and you didn’t know he was investigating Trump, you would have been fine with it.

I agree. At no point did I say “Clinton is blameless” and at no point did I say the FBI’s investigation into her conduct was inappropriate. In fact, I would agree that blasting Comey for investigating Clinton while praising him for investigating Trump would be hypocritical. But he did more besides just investigating

Yes, when people thought he was just investigating Clinton, they would have been glad if he had been fired.

Yeah, because hypocrisy is totally owned by Democrats. Remind me of how many “dingbat” Republicans jumped on and off the Trump ship throughout campaign? That was pretty entertaining as well.

Liberal here, and I don’t think that way at all. If Clinton needed to be investigated, so be it. I dislike the way he swayed the election and I think he should have been fired for that. But like SO MANY OTHERS are saying here, it’s not that he shouldn’t be fired, it’s the timing of the firing. Not appalled he was

Yah, fat orange asshole said Comey good. I saw it on the intertubes.

I’m pretty sure they’re upset about whats going on because he is firing the person investigating him, which looks very bad because guess why? It is very bad.

The Democrats elected Trump? Comey? Which mess?

Asking Comey to do the same thing to Trump (investigate) as he did to Hillary is not really “flipping” as much as it is asking for him to treat the two equally (which he has not done).
