I try and look for the fat house cats, as they tend to be the most lovable and docile. I've had some run-ins with some street cats. and try to give them their space as I'm sure they play by their own rules.

I try running and drinking a chamomile tea right after I get home from work. Sometimes it helps. I like walking around the neighborhood looking for cats to pet. That helps, too.
