Pathfinder is interesting in that it is a living example of why any RPG’s rule set needs to be rebooted from time to time.

Gen Con has an older population attending. The people most likely to make a big deal of it online, younger people, do not attend in the same numbers as at other cons.

If you have a larger home, and the GPS signal is spotty, it could cause your position to hop around a lot in a relatively small area. I guess it depends on how it measures distance. If it is the distance moved away from a given point in some interval of time, pacing of any sort isn’t going to work.

As someone who has been inside the AAP, I can confidently say that there is a lot of bad science thrown around in order to push specific agendas. I think the intentions are good, but the road to hell and all of that.
