I saw a picture of the new Wrangler sitting next to the generation before it and it was a considerable jump in size.

Yet it’s still compact in its dimensions. I can park it just about anywhere without worry of door dings.

No lockers, open diffs, crawled right up to the hill and let the traction control take care of the rest. Subaru AWD will find its way.

The Liberty is a great platform. The low range makes everything so much easier, hence the reason why I picked up a Wrangler.

Well you see what I drive now, haha.

Remember mag wheels?

Since the Wrangler is still body on frame, it doesn’t really what material the body is made of. Currently we have this mix of steel and fiberglass(hardtop). The lighter the better.

I would also like to thank you for a well-written response. A very interesting list of vehicles which shows that you are truly an enthusiast and not a one-brand rules type of guy.

So the perfect car/truck would be all of them!

Who looks down on lifting the Jeep Softroaders? Unless you’re talking about the Wrangler community, those guys...

We Americans aren’t lucky enough to get that here :(

I deal with left lane campers every day, this is one of them I persuaded to get out of the left lane after following him for ten minutes:

Mercedes plant in Alabama gives tours. All the sheetmetal is pre-stamped locally and trucked in, they just weld it all together at the plant. America at work, it’s great to see.
