Oh I can think of plenty worse to drive than a Jeep.

It looks like Rick over there has never left the safety of the pavement. Poor soul, but ignorance is bliss they say.
That was obviously Takumi Fujiwara. Or Bunta driving.
To our local playground in North Texas with a lifted Kia, lifted Subaru, a Grand Cherokee, and possibly a Renegade Trailhawk. And my stock Wrangler of course.
This is opposite road rage against a left lane hog:
With enough gearing you can climb just about anything.
You can get a base model with power windows and locks for a little over $32K with a hardtop and automatic transmission. And later on when the wife hates it you won’t lose much because they have a decent resale value.
Porsche Museum was catered more to Motorsports, the Mercedes Museum was very wife friendly because it also had history. I enjoyed both equally.
And if you are into off-roading, there’s Hidden Falls Adventure Park west of Austin for the rock crawlers and the plenty of public dirt roads of the Hill Country for the Overlander crowd.
I’ll probably end up getting 32’s 265/75R16 BF Goodrich KO2’s. But I’m also considering the 285/75R16’s (almost 33’s) but I've been told that they'll rub on stock suspension. I'm getting sway bar disconnects for trail duty so I may stick with the smaller of the two.
Haha 22 mpg, that is awesome! I’m on the expedition portal forum, I’ll probably post all of my updates there. But I guess I can message you directly and let you know how the bigger tires go. Do you have the 16’s also?
3.21 gearing, and enjoying the 19.5 indicated mpg. My last car got 17.1 (lifted Subaru Forester).
Just picked one up last week, went for the Sport mall crawl edition (29” tires) with two options, Automatic and the hardtop. It’s my commuter and I love it! Picking up some Rubicon rock rails for it this weekend and next will be tires, the aftermarket for these is ludicrous.
If you get some rock sliders made and they replace the rocker panels then I want a set also! If you’re on Facebook I run a group page called the North American Soft Roaders. Please keep me updated on that.
The stock Forester already comes with 8.9” of ground clearance, mine measures at 11.5” at the front skidplate.
It's an aftermarket strut spacer lift.
Now about that Audi...
It’s lifted 2” with WRX wheels and 225/70R16 Cooper Discoverer AT3’s.
I will have to look them up!
Unsesealed 4x4 (AUS) pretty much nailed it when discussing Subaru owners:
