My souldog was a heeler (cattle dog mix). Heelers rule.
“And I’m getting really sick of guys named Todd
I agree.
Was that wrong? Should I have not done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing was frowned upon, you know, ‘cause I’ve worked a lot of orgies and I tell you people do that all the time.
So what you’re saying is you’re clueless and proud?
I think it’s more the awe of it all. Just allowing oneself to contemplate something so distant and yet so real.
Ha! I was coming here to say the SAME thing. That always blows my mind.
In medical school, the way we remembered this was:
I admire you for keeping your cool in the face of an angry rabble of commentators.

Preach!
So judges should make decisions in response to public opinion?
“Exactly. Yet people seem to want sexual assault to be a special case that requires a conviction before it’s “real.””
“ The same person who doesn’t want to be involved with the cops should have the right to get an education safely.”
Agree. But if the rape wasn’t ‘forcible’, then the only thing proven by the evidence is that sex occurred. Which both parties already agree about.
True. But if there was physical evidence*, and your story made more sense than your co-worker’s, its a lot easier than a scenario where both people agree they had sex, but disagree about whether there was consent.
“If your coworker punched you in the face and knocked out 3 teeth, wouldn’t you report that to both HR and the cops? Or would that be asking HR to engage in law enforcement inappropriately?”
“You don’t need a conviction to expell someone from a school.”
