What the hell? An employee at a store actually taunted you when you tried to buy something? Who does that?

Yeah. I generally avoid reading spoilers or strategy stuff at first (to the point of frequently not finishing games because I get stuck and put it off rather than look up the answer), but when it comes to older games with ridiculously obscure stuff that requires either brute force or psychic powers to discover, that

That clicking sound you hear is a chorus line of tap dancers coming to have words.

My brother's toddler is a Thomas superfan, as is natural, and I got in a conversation with my brother when I visited about what Sodor is supposed to be. We figured it was probably similar to somewhere like Jersey. Interesting to note that it's the Isle of Man.

This won't affect Love It or List it Vancouver, right? I'm semi-obligated to watch a ton of these shows at work and the hosts of that one are way more adorable (and strangely willing to poke at the fourth wall).

I've seen shitloads of this show solely because I work with an autistic teenager and property shows are his favourite thing on TV. I think he ignores everything else and just uses it as a chance to look at the insides of houses. So long as the W Network keeps stuff like this coming in a steady stream, he'll be fine!

I wonder who pays for the wine at the end of this one.

Rural New Brunswick has some extremely attractive properties with some extremely attractive prices. It's just, you know, that you'd better get along with that bear on your property because she'll be your only neighbour for kilometres around.

Is that that Masters of Flip show?

Don't forget asbestos! I think the trifecta is asbestos, wiring, and load-bearing walls in the way of using the same open-concept design for every single renovation.

Oh my lord, all of the couples are so insanely annoying on this show. I have to believe that they're just acting like assholes instead of actually believing the ridiculous shit coming out of their mouths.

Maaaahaaaaaa the AUSTRALIAN legal system is… renowned for its justice and fairness.

"In this paper, I will show that religious freedom is a good thing, but not always a good thing. Wikipedia defines a religion as…"

No argument here. I was talking a bit more widely about how religions interact with the rest of society. In this case, being part of a school that is funded by the public, as you say, involves adhering to rules that aren't compatible with this practice.

That wasn't the thesis at all! How did you get that out of what I wrote?

That would indeed be a hard stance to defend. Good thing that I didn't take it.

The brass ring of regional comptroller is in sight!

Why is it OK for religions to do anything? In a legal sense, a religious group can do anything non-criminal until someone opposes it. If everybody in a prayer room agrees to have a divider, then there isn't any impetus for anyone not to do that. It isn't until someone opposes it that it has to be decided whether or

If you asked my mom, it'd be pretty close to this but with Supertramp in the bill.
