I just recently watched the Hills reboot, and Heidi Montag doesn’t even look strange anymore to me. Seeing a lot of the faces on this runway/compared to how shocking Montag used to be, it’s crazy and a little scary how quickly I’ve become used to the cosmetically enhanced look.

Using body doubles for potentially exploitative nudity* makes it worse, not better, as it constitutes shunting off the problematic usage onto lower-paid workers with less agency. If the shot is too problematic for your royalty, why is it okay to ask it of smallfolk?

Yeah, this was a pretty awful premiere—-my biggest gripe was yet another (over)use of the cliched “mother dies/goes into indeterminate coma in childbirth”, which of course will lead to “previously self-centered man digs deep to become stronger in caring for his newborn” plotline.

Okay, so, as far as I understand it, Sanders and Warren are basically running the same campaign. In terms of broad policy goals, they’ve offered the exact same stuff.
