Bottom line is that Asuka to RAW is for if you want to see stuff that's already been done before. You'd get more mileage out of fresh match-ups with Becky and Charlotte on Smackdown (not to mention superior writing that won't shank her character, looking at you Bayley and Emma) than seeing Bayley v Asuka III, or Nia…

Yeah I thought that keeping Shesaro, The Club and The Revival all in the same division wasn't the best idea. The only hard-hitting analogue that Smackdown has is The Ascension, which the less said about them, the better.

I think Smackdown has ended up with a great upper midcard/main event scene through this shake-up, which was one of it's weaker elements beforehand. Kevin Owens for Dean Ambrose? Sold! I'd have been happy to pack Dean's bags for him at that. Miz for Zayn? Sad to see Miz go because I fear he'll be lost in the RAW…

If that was Asuka's role, she wouldn't be holding the NXT women's belt. She'll come to the main roster when there's someone worthwhile to take her place in NXT. I forsee Ember Moon and Peyton Royce to be candidates but they need a few more minutes in the oven.

Who exactly would give Asuka a challenge on RAW? Sasha Banks, maybe. Bayley, well, if you ignore it was Asuka who shipped Bayley off to the main roster by taking her title and then beating her soundly in the rematch.
