I don't think her story is over.
I don't think her story is over.
They're short.
There's nothing to say that Gao still isn't Crane Mother. She knows about and has been to K'un L'un (can't recall if this has been revealed the Hand leaders all came from there as of this episode), she peddled a drug with the mark of the Steel Serpent, and she has Davos now under her wing (Davos/Steel Serpent being…
Cahleen, Maffyew!
Consider me officially intrigued by Bakuto’s comment to Gao: “Just because I don’t blind my disciples… That better not be the last we hear about how they choose disciples, and what it might mean about certain characters.”
Her dharma was… *gestures out to nothing*
"I'm waiting for someone"
Did he never even ask Daenerys about the possibility of using the dragons? It would be one thing if we had seen a sequence of Daenerys offering the dragons as support in “Eastwatch” and Jon stubbornly refusing, or Jon asking for the dragons but Daenerys refusing to offer them, but neither happened.
It's like the concept of building up to something is completely lost on these reviews. You wouldn't start at episode 1 with all the heroes getting together in a monumental brawl, not without sacrificing a lot of storytelling. I don't think there's an appreciate for a slow pace - hell, even a medium pace anymore.
Just lowballing these scores, eh?
HEY DID YOU GUYS KNOW WE DON'T LIKE IRON FIST
DON'T WORRY, WE WILL REMIND YOU 5 TIMES PER REVIEW IN CASE YOU FORGET
Bless him for getting it right from the start.
Just watched this a couple of days ago at a film festival, it is quite a great film with exceptional acting right across the board (Lois Smith in particular should win some kind of award for her portrayal here, and I don't think I've ever seen Hamm better). A bit depressing and very much feels like a stage play…
Well you'd think WW2 would have wisened us about Nazis the first time but here we are
Don't worry, I'm sure they'll be taught it in school
Iron Fist as a comic character always has been a bit entitled though. All the "criticisms" this review mentions about the character, is exactly how they're meaning to portray him.
I don't know what's real anymore
Well yeah now that you've edited it to the wazoo, it's a bit more apparent.
Look, if you're looking for any ol' excuse to write the thing off, just don't watch it. Problem solved. That one's for free *gun finger*
How is B+ not positive?
I'm amazed at the amount of people thinking this is somehow a terrible grade
