Isn’t DD season one when that one guy jammed his own eye on a metal spike to avoid having to answer to Fisk? That fucked me up.

This is EASILY the best that Danny (and Finn Jones) comes off.

I love that Danny bought the building, but that it’s not really his problem still. Like, Ward gets a stack of bills every month that’s just the cost of Danny fucking around as Iron Fist and has to figure out how to justify it. “Cost of Superheroing.”

Actually, I thought danny worked well in this episode. Perhaps it is you who feels unbalanced and out of place hahahahahahahahahahhhhhh

I’m sorry, this was my favorite ep of the season, just for “Patty Cake”.

Well, there’s a Steam sale going on, so most of them are not the same price (Mini Metro was the only one I saw).

“I can’t communicate how pleased I would be if they made a movie with no fighting, no super hero battles, and no super lasers. Just a simple, family drama for two hours.”

A steamy erotic thriller starring Black Widow and The Hulk. Directed by Gaspar Noé.

This sounds like a nice palate cleanser after Infinity War. I thought the first movie was as underrated, as it was the blue collar brother of the MCU. Rudd is always likable and I’ve been an Evangeline Lilly fan since LOST.

You could definitely make the argument that this gets messy when arcs travel at different speeds, but come on - when Bushmaster is airing his grievances to his hostages, it is literally intercut with Luke reading his father the riot act.

I’m a little bit baffled by this review. I get that a binge makes for some rickety analysis on a good day, but still, this is pretty basic stuff.

I agree, if he did one huge villainous speech about his motivations or if some henchman asked another what the deal with Bushmaster was, then it would seem really artificial. Sometimes characters have to talk in exposition on a show like this, with such a large cast and crossover with other netflix series, not to

I would agree if this was our world, but since this is a world where chi can heal people and nightshade can make you bulletproof, I’m thinking that her holistic medicines might have more legitimacy than the ones in our world.

I’m enjoying Luke Cage Season 2 and I’m enjoying these updates. If there was other content being buried by all of these reviews then that would be fair enough, but there isn’t much else worth covering at the moment, so I don’t see the problem with them staying.

I think it was just thoughtless casting; Luke was happy to pose with the 1st woman because she addressed him as a human instead of a souvenir, but by the time the 2nd woman shoved herself onto him, he had spotted a person-of-interest across the party.

Tell us how you really feel.

Damn this review is confusing. In one paragraph you’re saying that you don’t need Bushmaster’s backstory. That his enigmatic villainy is enough. Then in the next paragraph you’re complaining that you’re not getting backstory fast enough.

Right, just a handful of spells... that allow him to completely break the laws of physics and bend time and space to his will.

They actually establish in Jessica Jones that there are scammers out there promising to give people super powers.

“’Luke Cage’... is so... powerful... that... he... seems to be... cranking... in the... presence... of... his... mother!”
