fine if you think that except that the source material which they have used and relied on heavily throughout 7+ seasons has magic woven into a massive amount of the story threads. If you ONLY want political intrigue that’s fine. Go watch House of Cards.

it’s only “stupid magic shit” because the writers have always treated it as such. This is based on a FANTASY book series where guess what... the fantasy elements are important as hell. The show has unfortunately always done a disservice to the magical elements of this incredibly magical series so while you’re right

Perfectly good reasoning but I just don’t buy that a show spending million to produce an episode of the EIGHTH season of their cultural phenomenon can be chalked up to them not thinking about the viewing experience everyone has had for nearly a decade and then a lotta people wanting to watch.

Jon Gruden often seems like paranoid nutcase Humphrey Bogart in The Caine Mutiny

I’m so excited to see how this all plays out for TYRONE

Stealth black? when JET BLACK was staring them in the face.

Hi name is Goose. He IS a Flerken. Can’t believe no one has nerd raged you on this point in the first hour of this post!!

I would hold off on using the Indians as a model franchise who re-upped a player. Yes Klubes got taken care of but just yesterday our fearless Dolan owner all but admitted Lindor won’t be resigned. A full 3 years before his contract ends.

We Cleveland fans basically begrudgingly root for him b/c he’s a shitbag but in all seriousness - the very dumb drone accident was a freak thing. From a “keep himself in shape” standpoint he’s actually one of the harder working dudes around. It’s actually kinda annoying to have to admit that

I, for one, am irritated that on February 21st we already know a deadspin award winner for the year.

Its target audience loved it, and that’s all that matters to Disney....

these live action movies to date:

5 game sweep isn’t a thing...

thanks. now THAT is in my head the rest of the year.

As a Clevelander I am going to respectfully disagree with this being depressing. We were treated to unprecedented (for us!) levels of success, watching perhaps the greatest player on earth for nearly a decade, and got a championship we’ll always remember for the next 60 years until the next one.

bad headline guys! Baker dunked on Damien Woody here! a day AFTER he dunked on Hue just after dunking on the bengals.

I honestly think this is similar to seeing the warriors in the NBA. This is not the future of the NFL at large just like the Warriors, with their effortless movement and 2 of the best shooters in history, aren’t the future of the entire NBA. Rather they (and the rams/chiefs) are examples of the best possible version

I’ll say this much... that sure was a bunch more words about the kings.
