I actually like this one slightly better, at least until we get confirmation that he runs drugs.

I think its specially important for teen shows to tackle this sort of thing
Well sure. It's probably that terrible parenting that caused Jughead to leave home in the first place. I'm just saying I don't think he kicked Jughead out. I don't have any trouble believing that he'd destroy his son's hideout as a dysfunctional way of trying to limit his runaway son's options.
I stand corrected. Speaking for myself, I don't want that though. This is my new garbage show, which is not meant as an insult, just that I'm tuning into this for fluff and don't have a huge interest in taking it that seriously. I'm not watching for the same reasons I might watch, say, The Wire or any other show that…
When Veronica was in the truck, I think she turned around to sneer at the bikers and she caught a glance of her mom sneaking around the corner, so off-screen she went to investigate and next we see her she is spying on her mom and Skeet Jones.
Agreed. I think this show has enough on it's plate with bringing comic book characters believably to life while also balancing the small town noir schtick in a satisfying way. This just isn't the show for nuanced portrayal of serious issues.
I like it too. I prefer my cartoon crossovers to be excessive though, so my favourite's gotta be the Laff-A-Lympics.
I was googling around about Josie and the Pussycats today and ran into the episode where Josie's gang meets Scooby's gang. So that's proof they can exist in the same universe. They should totally cast Lillard as an older Shaggy who's the weird, creepy stoner who sells pot to kids, that every small town seems to have.
Might as well go all-in.
I don't like it either. I'm just trying to think of ways to salvage the storyline.
Maybe she's actually Sabrina.
It was such a weird choice to go down the Archie/Grundy road in the first place. Because yes, they definitely should have turned her in. But I don't think anyone wants want this show to be about Archie Andrew's journey of surviving sexual abuse, so I'm also sort of glad they didn't? It would have just been so much…
then again, he’s too busy being an awful father, leaving his son homeless
True. I can't imagine he gives a flying fuck about football.
Cat and Alice being sisters would not be a stretch, based on personality.
Especially when Grundy's eyebrows are RIGHT THERE.
If I had to guess, they will lose the state championship because their star players were nuked from the team.
1. I really enjoyed how Alice starts her snide public attacks by saying the person's name before launching into her mockery of said person. I think she did this both with Hermione and Cheryl's mom (although I can't remember the latter's name). I like to think she did this with most people at the gathering that evening.
Yes, Veronica seems both concerned for Betty and also a little like her femme fatale role was usurped.
Partially because of the conversation about this last week, I really noticed his hair in promotional stills and whatnot. I think they are redding up the colour in the promo materials.
