I thought so too.

I liked a lot of the mythology stuff, but yeah I agree this matches the show of day's past. I don't even know what X-Files would be like if it wasn't uneven with large swathes of junk episodes.

At the VERY least, somebody needed to shout "THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!"

I don't necessarily disagree, I just think Einstein has potential.

I'm good with Lauren Ambrose. Her character has some newness related shittiness (like how often shows aren't really that good until season two), but I could see her mellowing out over time.

I'm probably on board with this show no matter what, but the William-esque ending felt so wrong to me. Mulder might need those stem cells (whatever) but William is still in danger. Pretty sure Mulder and Scully would let themselves die rather than expose that kid to danger.

It's exactly this - Mike's Achilles' Heel: Gets involved with amateurs, and I think he likes being the smartest guy on the team (and rubbing it in their faces). But the idiocy of these same people puts him at risk, and is eventually his downfall.

Since clearly this is all about you.

Or claims they enjoyed it.

"Ghomeshi trail" That's like a slug trail, right?

frosting?

Yeah, Jay, Barry's dad, or Joe would definitely pack more of an emotional punch right now. But I've been struggling to understand why Wally's been in introduced if he is not a meta and doesn't use the speed force. I figured maybe he is like Caitlyn, superpowered in universes other than this one.

I agree the build doesn't match, but I figured some good editing might be able to take care of that, especially if the reveal only comes when Zoom is injured/dying, etc. Or, as Library Lass basically said, he's just a placeholder in a suit until they find an actor to replace him.

I tend not to read these threads since I'm almost always a week behind
with this show, but what's the consensus on whether Zoom is Earth 2 Wally?
Seems to me like the evidence is mounting, but I'm wondering if anyone
here has already thought of and dismissed this idea.

HD, in all its glory.

Einstein is basically the result of a thought experiment where Claire Fisher grows up and joins the FBI.

I got a Lone Gunmen notification for this?!?

Thanks. I'll probably catch up eventually when it hits Netflix, I petered out last year too and caught up that way when the latest season got there. It's not on my On Demand and I'm not in the states so can't watch on the cw website, so catching up can be a pain.

I did quit for awhile, then tuned in last night for the It Follows rip off, which I enjoyed for the most part. How's it been this year?
