That might be it too, for me. I definitely have post-Coven annoyance disorder. Neither the highs or the lows are shining quite as brightly.

In a lot of ways it does really feel like the same story being told over and over. I would say it seems like the same story being told in different universes, but Murphy's confirmed all the stories are connected, so I guess not. It's like a Murphy-esque take on Lange-as-Sisyphus.

I don't think it's CW-ish at all, but it is definitely procedural, sometimes heavily. And overall the procedural parts are the ones I don't much like. Sometimes though, it can be pretty entertaining to see Sherlock/Watson incarnations tackle a stereotypical US-procedural type of situation.

Seems to be a pretty frequent opinion here. I prefer Sherlock myself, but like both shows well enough that I get why people like Elementary more. I personally prefer to only watch Elementary in a binge rather than keep up with it weekly - I think it flows better that way.

Maybe? With the amulet, the mention of Adam, and the cameo at the end, it felt like they are deliberately tying up loose ends. Felt like maybe the beginning of the end.

It must be the Coster-Waldau factor?

This de-genred genre show has the same bland vibe as Dr. Facehands. I gave it a fair shot because Horatio Hornblower guy, but I find it too flavourless to hold my attention enough even for hatewatching, with the procedural bits completely smothering the fantasy bits.

I always had a sneaking suspicion that the Croque Monsieur in S2 was actually Croque Wendy.

Yeah: I'm not sure if there was any discussion there last night, but the first two had some discussion in them. So far it has been the "What's On Tonight" for Wednesday's shows that comes out late Tuesday night.

I would certainly agree with that for a couple other shows reviewed here at AVC. I don't think that is specifically the case for SPN, although I could be wrong.

I want to thank Eric for covering S9, too. In retrospect it was good that SPN's final year of AVC coverage was given to someone who was able to critique the show in good faith.

I couldn't decide whether Noah's stance on the daughter/stairs discovery was realistic or not. On the one hand, hard to believe that he wouldn't be more suspicious and protective of his daughter in the face of Creepy McBadboundaries. On the other had, he was on the mack himself, so maybe distracted and not paying as

Drug dealing might explain why the victim was heading toward the nightclub no self-respecting townie is supposed to care about.

Ah, okay - that was my impression as well.

Thanks. I just couldn't figure out if he's with the fair or it's all just a coincidence. I guess no one knows.

I haven't seen the whole of episode one yet. What's the deal with the clown? Is he AWOL from Elsa's troupe or an entirely separate deal?

SUPERNATURAL THREAD

Do you like apples? Well how do you like Apple, Inc.?

It definitely will, but if anyone gets that part it should be Ray Wise. Have Bob choose a new face and choose Leland's.
