You don’t know how copyright works do you....
Why? I’ll give you one, simple reason. Because I paid for it. And none of your reasoning applies to any of the scenarios I posited (switching platforms, lost/corrupted savefiles, objectively bad sections.)
And now what if, this is just me thinking aloud, what if you weren’t a condescending prick? Then people would be able to play your games any way they want it, experience it in new, interesting ways. Or new, terrible ways. At which point you could say, ‘ah but you played it wrong’. No wait, that’s still being a…
It sure would! I didn’t say it wouldn’t be. But it wouldn’t be dumb for you to start in print, and then pick it up on a Kindle midway through. But a game wouldn’t let you do that, if you moved from one machine to another. Let’s say you wanted to get a PS4 instead of an Xbox One. Let’s say you’re midway through Metal…
This is making assumptions based on things you do not know. It’s pretty obvious (to me) that the journalist’s opinion would have been highly impacted by what he/she thought was a new game, and then experienced to be literally the same as before.
Why didn’t they know it was the 2nd game in the franchise? Well, they had…
I get your rage, but I think it was an honest mistake quite simply because no amount of website traffic is worth a reputation hit like this.
What??? Okay, calm down. The comparison was not of babies to pets. Did you not read? I was talking about the tendency us humans have to never think we are part of the problem at hand. And you could stand to ease up on the condescension here. You kinda sound like you want a medal for being a parent.
And you know what? I bet the parents of those loud obnoxious kids reassure everyone what little angles they are.
I see both sides of this. If the organizers believed it to be a (mostly) child free event, then a presenter (not just an attendee) having a child there could be a disruption. Especially if the child was going to be with the parent during the presentation(s).
It’s a possibility. I expressed it as such. I don’t understand what you mean that I’m so focused on it. You said it yourself, there are loud kids and there are quiet kids. How was her friend going to know exactly what kind of kid this was? And even good kids can suddenly throw a fit. It’s not like their crying is on a…
I agree, but it’s the not-so-self-aware moms that ruin it for everyone.
How big are those hands?
As are most people who aren’t fossilized, technologically incompetent dullards like Burneko. The guy uses 18 steps to make mashed potatoes, but can’t figure out how these NEWFANGLED VIDYA GAMES work.
Life is hard for him.
Congratulations, Thobba89, you have just won some commenter a valuable prize. Who had 1:20 in the comment pool?
You really have no clue what asexual means do you sport?
