Absolutely. Every company has to start somewhere. The ones that don't improve and innovate from that start are the ones that go bust (and then ask for tax payers to save them).
I don't see this as bad news at all. I'd much rather see them release a refined product instead of one that is premature only because of some arbitrarily mark on some overpaid exec's calendar (looking at you GM).
