Having seen how the Kia Rio has lasted around me and how stout it seemed when I rented them in the past I don’t know if it belongs on this list.  There were a lot of cheap interior cars that can be on this list that also died in a few years time.

My buddy that had one did not have a good time with it. The transmission was VERY touchy and when it catastrophically failed it took out the whole engine with it.  It needed a whole new drivetrain and ended up going back on lemon law because it was going to take too long to get all the parts and work done.
