I totally see the appeal. I have a personal best 19:00 Super Mario Bros 2 that I know in my heart has 5 minutes of potential fat in it. I’m not sure I’ve ever thought of what I’m doing as cool but it’s definitely fun and makes the game very replay-able.

I think you can look at this from multiple points of view. I don’t have any expectation think it’ll stick. Getting it all going the same direction still seems impossible in this day and age. That’s probably natural. Fooling some people isn’t a new concept. Some people need to feel things first hand to be convinced.

I agree that neither article names a suspect. And our readings of the article are similar. But when I was reading it, I kept thinking that the reader could easily emerge from the article confused.
