All currencies are a construct of human perception.

The advantage of paper money is that’s it’s backed by a government - a government that, despite Trump’s every effort to the contrary, will almost certainly be around to back that currency in the years to come.

HamNo, I’ve been following Bitcoin almost since its initial release. I remember the days when it could be used to purchase about 20 different worthless things on random enthusiast sites on the Internet; when it was worth about $2 per coin. I kick myself every day for not mining it when I had the chance—if I had, I’d

It’s because it’s next to camping, which is in sports. I can’t really think of a better place to put guns. But I agree it should be separated out from the rest of sports

That’s more than a little scary. Who’s the idiot store designer for that particular location?

Depending on when you grew up, having toy guns was the shiznit. My brother and I had more toy guns than I have real ones how. Growing up at the tail end of the Cold war was a much different time for being a kid.

It’s the normalization of gun culture that somehow makes this acceptable. I would posit that normal people would never think that a gun would be something required for back-to-school.

Thankfully they recently swapped out “Baby” for “Auto Care”

The one thing, MBC...

Seriously, WTF. I’m Canadian, our Walmarts have the exact same layout (of course),and as I was looking at your map/comment, I thought “wait, that doesn’t...they wouldn’t....WHAT THE FUCK”.

I’m guessing because things like sports equipment (balls, nets, etc) and bikes overlap both sections. If I’m honest, there isn’t a time ever in my lifetime (43 years) I cannot recall the two being completely separate in a major retailer.

I’d agree with that. Granted, pretty much everything has become “more accessible.”

The manager pulled the trigger on the display before thinking it through.

But, bears...

Their aim was really off on this one.

I doubt most of the people here are offended. They just think this makes Wal-Mart look stupid.

You can ever take a holiday with these motherfuckers.

Or people who think about school shootings, and how funny they aren’t. So maybe parents with a kid in school.

Easily. And I like how the Wal Mart official says they’re “investigating how it could have happened”, like the store manager discovered an ancient type of dark magic or alien technology or some other shit.
