Occasionally I post something that’s not offensive. Today is that day.

I actually don’t mind. I get really bored at work and am just looking to pass the time.

I posted this on another thread, but I think a lot of it bears repeating. The justification for tearing down these statues lies in the reality of the Confederacy and how it began.

Its a problem in NOLA. They’re taking theirs down in the middle of the night.

Even Robert E. Lee thought that symbols of the Confederacy were a bad idea.

Sometimes there’s a man... I won’t say a hero, ‘cause, what’s a hero? But sometimes, there’s a man, well, he’s the man for his time and place. He fits right in there.

in fact if you take the respective statements and replace jew and black with trump voter and nazi and the other way arround you will have a difficult time finding the difference

Blocking one road is not restricting freedom of movement.

Feel free to copy and share! I’m sure the subject will come up a lot, given current events.

I know my shit and I have very little patience for the people who distort history to suit their own needs.

Your first three reasons are why the NORTH fought the Civil War. Those reasons are not the same reasons for why the SOUTH fought the Civil War.

Wrong again Sunshine. Nowhere in that statement do I say or imply that the North was fighting a race war. I’ll say it one more time, since you were probably too busy fucking your sister to have seen it the first time… The North didn’t need to be fighting a race war for the South to be fighting one.

Ah yes, the conscripted 18-year-old Confederate soldier, who by law is a veteren of the United States military, should be smeared, because we don’t want progress, we want division and violence. This is egging on violence, pure and simple. If you don’t see it that way, it’s because you don’t want to (read: cognitive

I just said it is incredibly stupid to say the northern, Union army, represented by several states where slavery was still legal, was not fighting for or on the behalf of non-whites.

Let’s check in with one of the first supporters of the rebel flag, and see what he has to say about its design intent:

Somebody needs to read their history if they think the Confederate Army wasn’t.

Sounds like someone could use another no-knock warrant to cheer them up. In the meantime, you said something about his kids?

He’ll stop catering to Nazis when we send him to jail. Which will be soon, but certainly not soon enough.
