Yes. Remote tribes in the Amazon and Java who have had no contact with the outside world I’m sure would value paper money.

100%. As I said, its all relative.

And not every human society recognizes the US dollar as having value.

Who elected those dicks? The American people. Who shops at Walmart? The American people.

That claim only holds as much power as we as a society give to it. If the American government ceases to be tomorrow, then that claim has no power. That’s a piece of paper with words we made up printed on it. What is the “value” in that? Its the value we give to it.

I think that’s reasonable. We need to do more to shift perception.

And most people don’t give any value to Bitcoins. They don’t know how to get them and they don’t know how to spend them. So they’re worthless to most people.

Can you eat it? Can you shoot with it? Then it holds no real value.

Its only value is in the relative amount people assign to it. Exactly like other forms of currency. The only difference is that its not back by any “country,” which is no difference at all because countries and government are also abstract concepts as powerful as we make them and allow them to be.

The trick is not to think at all. You shoot first and then shoot again but even harder than before.

You know those glass cages that people get into on The Price is Right? That blow around dollar dollar bills and you grab as many as you can? I’m working on one of those, only except for money its guns.

And what is the government? A its a repackaging of our primitive pack/herd structure.

Shooting things is relaxing. Its a great way to blow off steam. It can be competitive or recreational. Its usually social too.
