In the case of Polanski it wasn’t just statutory rape. He gave her alcohol and then drugged her up and then raped her against her will. I am not saying statutory rapists should go free but there is a lot more to the Polanski than sleeping with an underage girl.

I think the whole thing where Jordan pressured her to have sex and when she decided she didn’t want to, said she was abnormal was especially heinous.

It might be okay if King himself doesn’t write the screenplay. I like a lot of his books, novellas, etc. but Maximum Overdrive, Sleepwalkers, the TV version of The Shining are just terrible.

You’re right. Some of the episodes make me wince. I look back at some of the early episodes and there are a lot of gay slurs. I know one of the head writers is a gay and this is based on his relationship but these are jokes that should be said privately (if at all) not on a network.

Meh. The finale was horrible and the last few years were nothing but special guest stars for every damn episode.
