Why does there need to be pushback?

Ah, yes, the “you’re just too stupid to understand their brilliance argument”. My favourite.

Why don’t we all collectively ask Zack Snyder to make one exciting, well-paced, satisfying 90-minute movie, and if he can actually pull that off we can discuss four hours?

The only reason Snyder keeps likening this film to Star Wars is he doesn’t want anyone to know how much he’s copying the 1980 film “Battle Beyond the Stars”, it’s the exact same plot. The author of this post might want to educate himself since he doesn’t even mention it.

Me: sees “Two-Part Epic Space Opera”, gets excited
Me: sees it’s Zack Snyder
Me: walks away bereft of enthusiasm

With a rebel yell, she cried, “Less, less, less!”

You mean you didn’t like five full minutes of Superman’s death scream traveling across the world? Or the super-long, epic Shooting of the Magic Arrow scene?

In his defence, and as much as Zack Snyder’s Justice League wastes your time, it was arguably the right choice in the circumstances.

But . .. but . .. that is over 5 hours of Slo mo!

Agreed. I think Snyder does some really interesting stuff visually, but the storytelling is always wacky. Look who wrote Dawn of the Dead though:

Nah, pretty much accurate

“Rebel Moon will hit Netflix on December 22.”

Or she may just be a fairly untouched version of a character like Misty Knight”

Change My Mind: Snyder’s best film is the 2004 Dawn of the Dead, and that’s a B.

It’s worse than that - Snyder films could be cut to a 120-150 minutes that makes sense, but his priorities in terms of editing are so bad, because he doesn’t understand good story structures. He understands visual composition of a shot really well, but not the needs of a larger narratives. Hence why he loves dream

When they started to release info on the plot I started to the think that this is just a big budget version of “Battle Beyond the Stars”

Correction: His films make no sense even before they have to be cut down. The extended versions might explain how we get from A to B, but both A and B are still poorly thought out.

Well you know, it only makes sense if you see the Rebel Moon part three extended cut.

hack snyder and his army of bots will guarante a fresh rating for this ”””movie”””

Netflix, I can’t figure out why your subs are stagnant.
