Oh man that sounds like something I’d like to try except for the “mattifying” thing. I guess because I am an old and already did the matte stuff, I don’t understand all the girls TRYING to look older by putting a dusting of foundation I can see a mile away on their faces. Now if you’re oily, that’s a whole different

My issue with nearly all foundations for the pasty white are that the undertones are all either STRONGLY pink or yellow. NEUTRAL, some of us are Neutral!! And somewhat off topic, can we talk about how awesome the now-discontinued Stila CC cream was?

Why not just have TWC sell off the rights to the show to another production company? Then we can all still watch it guilt-free, and without (the hideously dressed) Georgina. I will be very very sad if Project Runway goes away - it’s actually taught me a lot!

I am your body opposite. I am almost 6' and wear shirts from the petites department, especially now that everything is “oversized”. But for some reason, long torso one-pieces still work better on me. I do not understand clothing.

Oh I just wanted to add that my wedding website barely ever even got looked it (it showed number of views), so that’s why I suggested putting it a doc to email or something else as well.

If you think about it, the hostess of a party always pays for the bulk of things, whether it’s a bridal shower, birthday party, baby shower, etc. Food, decorations, party favors - that stuff gets expensive. For most of the wedding events I’ve gone too, the MOH coordinates and then others can contribute to the party

If the other party is paying (like the MOH for the bridal shower), as long as she suggests whatever it is that costs $, I think it’s fine for you to accept, just be grateful and gracious about it. Tell her that you like her ideas but want to be respectful of her budget. As for the friends, etc., do you have a wedding

No no no no. If you tell someone that you can’t afford it, and they decide to do it anyway, they’re responsible for covering the costs. I would tell her you can contribute $X and she can either cover the difference or scale back the plan. It might be necessary to have a sensitive conversation with the bride and tell

I vote true also. Unless there’s something strange/religious about the service, like only members of the church can be there.

Yeah, I feel like a lot of the “I’m going to do it so cheaply” people have never actually looked at the cost of anything (because I was totally that person). Example: buffets generally cost 20% MORE than a sit-down dinner. And by the time you buy all the crap to do stuff DIY, you could have just paid for the stuff and

Right?!? Oh, you have friends that invited you to their party? That’s..... horrible??

That’s what we did too. I didn’t like the idea of planning in a city where I couldn’t check any of the vendors. At least at home I could get good deals and check everything out.

I don’t know - I’m tall and chubby at the moment (my BMI is horrifying but that’s the good thing about being tall, right? Much harder for people to tell how fat I really am). They have a damn good range of sizes. I find the new “ankle length” the most irritating thing - those are never long enough. I want full

Oooh good to know!

I did not intend to have a “domestic destination” wedding, but it’s not my fault that all of my family members decided to live all over the country/globe. And it drives me crazy when people act all put out because they were invited to a wedding. Trust me when I say that many times, an invitation is just a courtesy

Yes! I don’t think size 2s need “compression” but I certainly do, so having the thicker model actually helps me grasp what they’re saying visually. Oh, my fat won’t jiggle and I’ll look solid and non-lumpy - cool! Also, tall sizes yay.

I cringe when I purchase it, but when I’m still wearing it almost daily a couple of years later, I am super happy. And POCKETS!!

I just recently found this out about my grandmother, and it’s one of her recipes that everyone raves about. She did change ONE ingredient so I’m going to keep pretending it’s all her grandma magic.

Ryan Reynolds did NOT create Deadpool. That script was worked on for over ten years.
