"You're sick, Jesse! Sick, sick, sick!"

I was in an AMC theater earlier today with a digital ticket selector. I'm not kidding you, the button for Sing was the Sing Street poster.

I barely remember the Shrek movies. I actually did enjoy the Puss in Boots spin-off from a few years back, though. It was decent silly fun.

They're called "election years."

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story: To my absolute non-shock, this is the best Star Wars prequel by miles. And for the most part, I really enjoyed it. The characters are mostly great, with K-2SO and Chirrut Imwe being the highlights. The climax is fantastic, with some of the best sustained action since Fury Road. The stakes

This takes "Kill her mommy! Kill her!" to a whole new level.

Since people already mentioned 10 Cloverfield Lane and The Nice Guys, I'd like to throw out The Conjuring 2 and The Edge of Seventeen, which have the odd commonality of functioning as masterclass works of their own genres while also delivering some of the most hard-hitting dramatic moments of the year.

Would that it were so simple.

Cotillard: Let's just say it moved me… TO A BIGGER HOUSE!!!

I find it amusing that all of the Biggest Disappointments (except the two I haven't seen, Swiss Army Man and High-Rise) were films I would consider for Most Underrated.
