She can’t even hold a candle to Lily Allen!
She can’t even hold a candle to Lily Allen!
If the heart wants country its just plain wrong and no one can convince me otherwise.
It annoys me because it gives people one more example to throw at those of us who actually mean it.
I feel this but only because I have a friend who used to actively talk shit about parenting but now has two kids and gets offended when I don’t want a play by play of their soccer games
Neutrals though. Bleh.
I love to think of this as a Facebook auto-identify protest. The teens are rising up, the future is feeling brighter, and the parents won’t find out where they’ve been.
Monogamy is hard when you’re polyamorous, like for me. What she seems to be suggesting here is that she maybe is as well but she doesn’t have the vocabulary to articulate that yet. Based on my experience, the sentiment she’s expressing here is step 1 for most people to realizing that they’re poly. There’s nothing…
Its really about taking a commitment seriously, and then not putting yourself in the position to do something stupid. Like recognizing that a work friendship is getting a little too flirty and cooling it off.
“Pianist Daryl Davis estimates that since the early ‘90s, he’s collected around 25 robes that were worn by Klansmen, each representative of a mind he’s changed and a life he’s converted to anti-racism”
White people get radicalized very easily because when you’re spoiled and never face any real adversity, the smallest slights feel world changing.
yeah I can listen easily all the way through as well, I just wonder what it might be like to have heard it purely and not seen it first and then do the same for Adele. I guess I’ll never know!
Locomotive Jones, shut your racist ass up and stop harrassing Jez with that shit.
I guess the silver lining in all of this was to see Chance the Rapper get his due. I’m not the fanboy other’s are, but you can tell he puts his all into his work, and it’s good to see actual hardwork awarded.
“Hello,” wasn’t nearly that great of a track and I can’t even remember a single other song off that album.
If Bey picked up her toys and swore never to attend another Grammy event, I’d be with her on that. Lemonade was different levels. I get that we love Adele as a cast, crew and m-effing record label, but 25 wasn’t even as lit as 21! And neither of those were as good as Lemonade. Grammys can miss me with the bewlsheet on…
This is a bit heartbreaking. 25 was mediocre at best. I’m not even a Beyonce stan, but she gave us an album that represented a demographic, that doesn’t get represented enough. And it didn’t get recognized tonight.
Lemonade really should have won. She got cheated, that sucks. 25 as much as I liked it, it was a budget Celine Dion album.
Beyoncé wins “best urban contemporary [black] album” and Adele wins “best [white] album”..........................
