I’ve been to Attica and it was amazing but so damn pricy I felt really bad about it after.

Omg seriously?! In what universe is she living in that Amy Winehouse’s name belongs even in the same sentence as her own? Good god, she’s delusional.
I’m not American, so this doesn’t really apply but I would love to be a “homemaker”. Except the median house price in my suburb is over a million dollars. One income doesn’t cut it and hasn’t cut it for most people ever.
Mad kudos to that wonderful grade 6 teacher!
How did Bust Your Windows not get an honourable mention for property damage? That’s my go to angry song.
Lemonade is one of the very few albums out in the last five years I can play start to finish. Most albums are released to be sold as singles these days, I think the visual album aspect of Lemonade is just another reason it was superior to 25. My first listen of the album the whole way through felt like a journey.
I agree that Hello has an iconic chorus, but I genuinely could not name another song on that album. I don’t think it deserved to win album of the year over Lemonade. If it was 21, sure, but not 25.
Also known as “pulling a Bannon”.
I would say it’s probably an exchange rate thing. But we don’t tip here so it probably evens out in the end.
Welcome down under!
Alcohol is expensive here? Idk. We don’t tip here so I guess some of that money contributes to paying the bar staff a living wage. Which I’m not mad about, I suck at making cocktails so I’m definitely paying for a service.
Melbourne, Australia. I’m sure you could find $16 cocktails somewhere here but that’s the price for a basic mixed spirit at my local.
I live in a bougie suburb full of hipsters in Melbourne, Australia. Last cocktail I drank cost me $26. It was delicious and fancy, but $26.
Not in America. I suppose the upside to the $20 cocktails is not having to tip the person making it. I guess it works out in the end.
All I got from this is that $16 is expensive for a cocktail? Like it’s hard to find cocktails here under $20. I want $16 cocktails damnit.
Probably because her real life twin is massively jacked now so they don’t look like mirror images anymore. Seriously though, that girl is ripped af.
You must have done a great job raising a son so hardworking. Major props to you!
I googled the menu out of curiosity and there are baby back ribs glazed with Manuka honey and marmite, which to be honest sounds next level awesome. Plus a pavlova is on the dessert menu. So I think it gets a pass just for that.
Oh man, this story made me miss Kitchenette so bad.
Hahahaha! Oh no! Accidental dad crush.
