Well I hope you learned your lesson.

One year my girlfriend and I decided to make pumpkin pie from scratch instead of using the canned filling. We bought pie pumpkins, scraped out the goo and seeds, cut them into chunks and roasted them. Then we scraped the roasted pumpkin meat from the rind, pureed it in a blender and pressed out the excess water. The

I live in Portland, and I used to drive my 1985 Honda Accord on all-weather tires up to Mount Hood to go snowboarding. It was like car-curling, only the rink was on a mountain. Having 3 dudes with shovels and an extremely light car made it almost as easy to get out of the snow bank as the lack of grip made getting in.

2017 is coming to an end with me cheering for LaVar Ball... this is some M. Night Shyamalan omg I’m a ghost BS. Next week Kyrie is going to win a Nobel Prize for proving the earth is flat.

This, 100%. I think I could handle being rich (I mean I’m willing to try it, anyway) but famous? Hard pass.

This is a filthy lie, and you should be ashamed of yourself. Pumpkin pie is the only proof I need that god loves me.

At what point did this - ANY of this - seem like a good fucking idea?

Instead of calling it fiction we should call it practice.

Social awareness restricting freedom is exactly what Twitter is doing when they kick Nazis off their platform, the restriction of speech you were so concerned with to start. Now you’re arguing for it?

I don’t think you have a firm grasp of what that comic (I called it yours because you shared it) is arguing. The form of free speech it espouses isn’t internally consistent; demanding access to a platform removes editorial control from the owners of the platform, so you’ve impeded their right to speech in order to

Honestly that doesn’t worry me very much, because the tools for creating communications platforms are so cheap and easy to access. Of course if net neutrality gets blown up today ease of access becomes a much larger issue.

Your comic is disingenuous and manipulative. The third panel literally uses framing to establish an inaccurate perception of the state of public discourse. The public arena is not crowded out by the internet, newspapers and TV - those things create new spaces for more speech. The soap box in the park is still there.

On behalf of the community here at Deadspin, I’d like to thank you for your contribution.

Remember when republicans at least pretended they cared about “family values?”

To be fair, skeezy old dudes using their power and influence to get what they want from young women is right in line with “traditional values.” Recognizing that “traditional values” may not be totally awesome for everyone involved is a good first step into progressivism.

Please do! People talk about how car culture encourages individuality but the builds that are *internet approved* all feel the same. Rock the boat!
