I think OWS has lost the point of their protest.. What are their goals? what do they want to achieve from all this? What are they FOR? Is this protest giving them traction in attaining those goals, or making people realize what they are protesting for.. Will protesting like this change current trends or policies?

INTERESTING TID-BIT: the OWS park in NY is semi-public.. See public parks do not allow over-night activities.
