I remembered the earlier reports that she worked there...Just found this saying you're right: http://news.yahoo.com/nancy-lanza-reportedly-wasnt-teacher-sandy-hook-elementary-163928460.html then there is this article http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/15/us/connecticut-lanza-family-profile/index.html quoting a neighbor (as

Definitely a popular theory. Along with killing her off to add to his legend for his Heisman push.

But YouTube is real! It's authentic! No one lies on YouTube! The comments section is the new revelations!

regarding #6, his mother worked at Sandy Hook also. A far cry from "zero connection"

It's still a high profile, embarrassing scandal. Both scenarios are embarrassing, but if he was pushing the death to get publicity for the Heisman, it's pretty despicable, even though it's not illegal.

Be careful, it cuts both ways.

So he couldn't find an obit or a record of the car accident and he thought he should just let it go? Why wouldn't that raise red flags? Why wouldn't you investigate those red flags before embarrassing yourself?

In truth it's a saying that goes both ways. There is a mother jones article that investigates all the mass shootings. The few that have been stopped have been stopped by cops or off duty cops. There was one where 2 armed civilians were gunned down trying to intervene.

Swimming is an individual sport...they try to make it a team sport by having relays and assigning points to places, but in reality, it's entirely individualized.

That's because it's like 8 yards of wool folded over itself hundreds of times. That and high socks will keep anyone warm.

Former highschool swimmer here. One person can not win you a meet. Every place except last place gets points. She can only swim in 4 events: two individual and two relays. At best she can get her team 40 points. If no one else on her team places behind her the other team gets more points out if the event. When I

He really likes pie...

Exactly like in hockey. Sure action is briefly stopped and they change sides, but nothing is reset...it's like a coach called time out or a puck left the rink at center ice and they took a TV time out.

But there is a restart, just like between the first and second quarters and the third and fourth quarters. The clock stops, there is an official time out and the teams change sides. It sounds exactly the same as hockey's to me (sudden death, continuation of play until there's a score).

except all the scoreboards have the game listed as 2OT, the in game clock had it listed as 2OT...much like playoff hockey's. The addition of the word period is asinine. I blame kinja

So Lance is going to be the guy from "Catch me if you can" now?

I agree, the current toothless gun control does nothing. We need more effective gun control immediately.
