Bokononism - the religion of the people of San Lorenzo in Kurt Vonnegut’s “Cat’s Cradle”. Not so much my favoriate but it is kind of fascinating and it would be interesting for someone to write a companion book about it, ala The Silmarilan.

“Can I get you to______?”
“If you would_____, that’d be a big help.”
My last car died in 2014. So, I spotted an SUV I was interested in on Autotrader, called the dealer to make sure it was available and went there during lunch to check it out and take it for a test drive. The guy was hyping up this car, asking me what I thought. I asked if i could take it for a drive...his demeanor…
While I feverishly disagree with your statement about “chill jobs”...and find it odd that one feels young enough to use such a term, yet states that wearing shorts might make one appear lazy....I will defend to the death your right to state your opinion.
Be chill, yo!
I snagged this last year around this time for $27.

Crazy, huh?

Not to mention that the mainstream quickly forgot about the Pantera fan who jumped on stage and shot/killed Dimebag Darrell Abbott. Legal gun owner. Veteran. But...you know...no big deal, right?
I remember my mom trying to cook bacon in the very first microwave we had. Didn’t work out well. Took way too long to cook and it was a lame, flimsy mess. Like turkey bacon (which is a concoction of vile darkness and concentrated evil).
I have a microwave-safe plastic dish that I cook eggs in for sammiches.
Additional things to consider:
1) Be VERY careful of Craigslist. A nominal “rehoming” fee would comparable to what you’d pay at the human society or a rescue group which may be as low as $100 or possibly even $350 for a breed-specific rescue. $400+ isn’t really reasonable unless they’re giving you extras like a crate,…

This is really kind of a silly news piece. Yes, the rules are silly, but it’s a private company.
My wife works for an airline and up untill maybe 5-6 years ago, non-rev passengers (non-revenue, which are employees and thier families) and anyone riding on a buddy-pass, were required to adhere to a specific dress-code…
Happens at least once a year with all of them, Im afraid. Standard-issue “you’re charging too much/your not paying enough” disputes and the viewers suffer.
I remember when DTV and Viacom were in dispute...first a little ticker showed up from the networks... bad-mouthing DTV, and then DTV added their own ticker…
We only used it for broiling steaks when I was a kid. Ahh....winters in Wisco.
I hate it. Every one of them. They all suck.
It rubs the butter on it’s skin....

I think CNN reported a similar incident this morning, where the dude was doing donuts and almost hit a building. There turned out to be an off-duty deputy out there at the time who came to the driver’s rescue and had him escorted to a nice safe jail cell.
Protect and serve.
Curfew is mainly for looters. Reporter going “ape-shit” is because morons like that dude (who probably doesn’t get laid much) end up losing control and plowing into trees, ditches, buildings, etc.
It IS Florida, however, the South Georgia mentality has migrated to the central Florida region, so there’s that.
Any toy that challenges the mind of a dog like Mal is a good toy. They need the stimulation. very cool.
