Am I weird for enjoying Stainless Steel patina?
Don’t the latest model 3's have double glazed glass for passenger windows? Seems like it would be pretty hard to break either way.
Clearly they got water in the intake.
That back end is ugly as sin.
I guess this is fine? I could probably afford to buy one, but why would I want to spend this much money on something that will depreciate so quickly? You could buy a RAV4 prime for around half the price in Canada, which would give you a decent amount of EV only range for use in Cities.
It’s not worth trying to apply logic to this situation. It only takes less than 5 seconds to point out the hypocrisy of what they’re trying to do, and why they are trying to do it. They want to live in a society with all of it’s financial and social benefits/conveniences, while at the same time refusing to contribute…
Florida really is the prime destination for people with mental health issues/people that didn’t get enough attention or love from their parents as a child. Kinda sad really. Sorry if you’re a regular level headed flouride resident - None of this is your fault.
Probably a crabby alcoholic.
Number 23 gets it. So much animosity and judgemental behaviour in car culture. Whatever helps you sleep better at night after wasting too much money on depreciating asset (especially with personal mods,) I guess.
Hmm. The only way Boeing can possibly recover their reputation is to figure out all of the areas of the aircraft that have been negatively affected by cost cutting, negligence, and poor design, and then recall all 737 aircraft to inspect and fix where necessary.
Personally I don’t think the rust / staining on stainless steel panels is an issue for me, so long as it’s just a bit of patina, and not rust bubbles (the latter is a serious problem.) But then, apparently I am a bit of a weirdo, and enjoy seeing utilitarian things get used and picking up wear from being used (even…
Or it could have something to do with them falling apart and rattling after only 50k miles?
Oh man, this guy Epsteined himself. Feel pretty sorry for him - You spend your whole life trying your very best to be excellent at what you do, but bean counters are always hanging out in the shadows to shit all over your ideas. This is why things used to be built better, because they were designed and built by people…
I’m just glad we’re not blaming Millennials this time.... Oh wait. There it is, right at the end.
Yes, well, people are starved for high budget (yes, $190m is still a lot of money for a movie,) original content that doesn’t just follow a well established boring AF formula / sequel / reboot (looking at you Disney/Marvel.) It’s amazing what can happen when a director is trusted enough to put their heart and soul…
Around 2010 was peak motoring functionality era for average-joe cars. Pre-infotainment, pre-touchscreen everything, decent sound systems with bluetooth, all physical controls, pre-hybridization/turboification of powertrains, and absolutely no distractions for the driver.
Pretty hard to justify that $6B fee, no matter how you look at it.
So basically just regular every-day stuff will cause staining on this stainless steel? Where I park, my car is constantly assaulted by leaves, bird poop, snow, salt, rain, construction dust, oily hand prints etc. The only thing I really worry about is bird poop and those fat leaves that get stuck flat to the hood…
