I can only watch it by completely letting go of the plot and losing myself in the interaction of fun characters. The only thing that makes it watchable is, unlike Arrow, they don’t make someone do something totally out of character every other episode. (Instead they do that with time travel itself.)

I think it might have worked better as a mini-series of 5 or 6 episodes, because the problem with Savage is that I can think of quite a few ways to deal with an immortal that don’t involve a mystical dagger: volcano; locked in a metal box, taken back in time, and buried in a remote location before humanity came to be;…
