So basically, Jalopnik publishes a story about how a used car salesman shat its pants (Watch Jeff Gordon Scare The Crap Out Of A Random Used Car Salesman), then everybody calls bullshit.

Well, I think you are correct. For me, at least, the allure of a Mustang or of a Camaro is the "americaness" of it, mainly the sound out of the v6/v8 and torque.
Prices are indeed ever rising.
Well, it will take a lot to get used to, but I see this change as positive....
"Over here a decade old subcompact would be worth almost the same or sometimes even more than a large car in the same condition of the same age of the same manufacturer."
LOL. You must be from the 'States, for sure.
Actually, for everyday driving, I think that they are very exciting. Especially PD (pump injector) TDi engines. The kick that they have is amazing compared with common rail engines.
True.

"Compact"... lol... America....
"move to Portugal, where you can have crisis but you never have snow except in one mountain".

hahaha +1 internet to you.
Kill all of them with fire. Except the Cruze.
Increase the fuel economy or reduce the costs?
As somebody from Europe, where we don't have all the discussion of manuals and automatics (because... almost everything here comes with manual and everybody learns how to drive with manuals) I agree with you. The only part where I don't agree is "Paddles are better".... because not all paddles are better... Go and…
I confess. I don't follow all that much F1 races. Although I'm from a bankrupt Euroland country, I rather see Aussie V8 Supercars than F1.
I agree with the NFS games. I think that Forza Horizon will be very decent and fun. I just don't think it deserves all the media attention it is getting as if it was groundbreaking.
You have a arcade game with a concept and execution very similar to other games (TDU, TDU2, NFS:U (to a certain degree); Driver (to a certain degree), et alia.
