That's what I saw as well. Guy tried to pass on the outside, got pushed into the wall, and the pusher rebounded off the passer, sending him into the pack. The blocker looks to blame, not the passer.

As has already been stated, it's not such a big deal on a 300 passenger airliner where moving a few people around isn't going to affect the stability all that much, but on smaller jets, passenger seating locations can impact how the aircraft flies significantly enough for them to sometimes ask
