by “mature” I meant along the lines of a Golf, A3, or something reasonably nice. The Bolt looks like a $12k Babby’s First Car. I’ll go back and clarify.

Edit: I guess I can’t go back and clarify.

Oh, for sure. I really hope more companies actually compete with Tesla, but currently none are, at least for the market segment I’m looking in. Hell, if Audi offered the A4 in an AWD electric model with a 250 mile range and some sort of fast-charge infrastructure, I wouldn’t even be in this dilemma.

yeah I’ll grant that the X looks better in person. I test drove the S and X (I’d never, ever buy the X or any other SUV/Crossover for myself but my girlfriend wanted to look at it so whatever). I really liked the S other than the fact that it’s roughly the size of an aircraft carrier, and the interior is kinda

I personally don’t give two shits nor a fuck about the environmental side of driving an EV, I’m just sick of buying fuel and dealing with the ICE drivetrain with all the annoyances that come with it. I won’t consider a Leaf or a Bolt because they’re front wheel drive econobox pieces of shit (and also they have no

I’m not sure if you’re using that to make my point, or attempting to retort.

Yeah, I like the e-Golf as a concept, it just doesn’t fit my needs. Works fine for the majority of real-world drivers, just wouldn’t fit the bill for what I want.

The drag argument doesn’t really hold as much as you’d think, given that the Bolt for example has a higher cD than a MKIV Jetta.

‘tis cool, I fortunately have a chill workplace.

…but look at the demand and hype on the Tesla front. It’s readily apparent there’s plenty of a market for people who don’t want to drive the equivalent of a purple floppy penis in terms of the “look at me” factor.

Welp, glad I just googled that at work.

The X looks like a Prius raped a Previa and the baby had Down syndrome. Not my style at all, but the Model 3 and the Model S are fine, stylistically. I’ve got a reservation in place for a Model 3 but it remains to be seen if I’ll get that or an A4. Tesla’s gotta nail a lot of things that I’m kinda lacking confidence

This is what I was talking about in the other thread.

I’m happy to buy an EV, but I want it to look like a normal, mature car (not SUV. Not crossover. Not a weird retarded bubble thing. Just a coupe, sedan, hatch, whatever), with normal, mature car amenities. Why is Tesla the only company that understands this

I just wish more manufacturers than Tesla would realize that not everyone who wants an EV wants a stupid-looking piece of shit. The reason I have a reservation for a Model 3 is because it looks like a nice, normal car, will have AWD, etc. If the final version disappoints me I’ll buy a loaded Audi A4, because other

Interestingly, apparently headlights aren’t a *cost* problem for my car, they’re an *availability* problem. If you break a headlight or taillight on a Cadillac XLR, it’s allegedly totaled because there are no spares.

Trucker. Failure to secure load.

Those filthy sons of bitches who throw cigarettes out damned near killed me on the motorcycle a while back, hit me right in the visor which I fortunately had down. Sparks, blindness, etc.

Further proof that children ruin everything. I don’t mind *having* more than 2 seats in my next car, but I damned well better never *need* them.

I would legitimately be interested in buying this instead of a Model 3 if they’d put the full adaptive cruise with traffic jam assist and the ventilated seat options from the A4 in.

Yeah 1/1/18 will be my decision date. If by then I have an actual order in place with an estimated delivery date that is reasonable, that’s fine. If Tesla still have reservation holders who want AWD sitting in the breeze with no info, I’ll order the Audi.

Doing my part to fight this. Hopefully buying a Model 3 around the end of the year or early next year, unless Tesla screws the pooch and can’t produce the AWD model within a reasonable time… if that happens I’ll buy an Audi A4.

Lol ok.
