In the windmill shot you can very clearly see that they “just” paint over the relevant parts. It’s the only sensible approach I would think, both for time and consistency. Well, at least for the scenes where it’s possible to do so.

Good luck finding anything that is tinfoil hat approved these days. Maybe a Slackware dist from 1995 or something?

A lot of horrendously bad music with titles in a language that not even google translate can make sense of. I guess I have some immigrant living here that really likes that sort of music. Meh, boring.

Where are the Jezebel people flipping out over this being posted? Imagine what would’ve happened if something similar happened to a woman and it was posted, unedited like this? They would go nuts.

This reminded me of this song and how it changes to a pop song at 2x speed:

$0 because it’s a pain in the ass to find anything that ships to Sweden.

I remember watching SC2 tournaments back in the day where 2GD was hosting and I always thought he was a bit of an asshole. There is always banter between the casters, all in good fun, but he always seemed to go that one step further and get personal. Some of the things he said you could see really affected the other

I can’t help but get cliche and think to myself “think of the starving children in the world and what they would think if they saw this” when I see shit like this. It’s disgusting.

Why is a two year old post on the front page all of a sudden?

Journalists do their part as well. Very very often they will list “only XXmm thick!” at the very top, or close to it, when reporting on phones/laptops etc.

But then you’re just draining your laptop instead.

“Who needs a big battery if you can fully charge your phone in 15 minutes?”

CGB19 captured my thoughts about it quite well:

“Terrifying”. Really? Really?

“DK” stands for development kit. Basically you paid for “early access”. Also, they were sold pretty much at cost, they didn’t make money on those.

You can’t compare VR of the 90s to what we have today. Remember when MS launched tablets and it failed? It was too early, the tech wasn’t where it needed to be. Maybe I should’ve said first gen of something viable instead.

“The two little cameras that track your motion across the room are now wireless, which implies a huge, huge step forward (previous one were very bulky and wired).”
