I don’t think I’ve ever been as uncomfortable while watching a movie as I was during Mavis’ public breakdown at the baby naming party. I was squirming in my seat, but I loved it.

I’m a fan of Rogen (I loved his straight man performance in ‘The Disaster Artist’), but this is definitely left-field casting. Cronkite’s patrician and aloof bearing seems like the polar opposite of Rogen’s usual schtick.

This is like eating a mediocre chicken sandwich at a restaurant and then demanding you also be allowed to eat the beaks and feathers.

The problem, of course (well, one of many problems) is that it’s unclear if the cut these fans are asking for even exists. Snyder did likely have a cut of the film at one point in production before he stepped down, as the petition describes, but that cut would have been an unfinished one, likely with in-progress…

Ratner is still co-financing many of WB’s movies. His contract with them states that his company doesn’t get a say in which movies he co-finances with them, nor does he have any say on anything that happens within those movies production-wize.
