It was a running joke among my friends and I, “Whatever happened to Mira Sorvino? Wasn’t she supposed to be a big deal?” I feel like such an idiot now. Had no idea she was being blacklisted, and for disgusting reasons, too. Hollywood owes them both (and many others) a career resurgence, if they’re interested in such.

I’m a fan of Rogen (I loved his straight man performance in ‘The Disaster Artist’), but this is definitely left-field casting. Cronkite’s patrician and aloof bearing seems like the polar opposite of Rogen’s usual schtick.

It’s only the second most unrealistic Zootopia fan comic I saw today.

Okay, this is definitely a Christian zealot’s comic: woman abandons all personal agency to make man happy.

Good. It was one of the best new shows out there.

Sure, it’s petty, but then again, Paramount is spending a few hundred million on it’s own movie, and they probably thought “don’t want the headache, sorry, you figure it out on your end, the stach stays”.

What about asking people to wear name tags is “pretentious?”

Looks like this thread got deleted. It’s important, though, so I’m reposting it:

Oy. One thing Penn is not, is interesting. He does some interesting things, but I cannot imagine anything very entertaining coming from such an overly ponderous person. He’s more like an empty vessel into which an amazing character can be fleshed out, but who has no remarkable characteristics of his own. But, hey,

Duh.

Wow. Surprised how many people ran with this.

You know those idiots who say they’ve “written” a novel except it’s only written down in their heads?

Ratner is still co-financing many of WB’s movies. His contract with them states that his company doesn’t get a say in which movies he co-finances with them, nor does he have any say on anything that happens within those movies production-wize.

Except she didn’t “speak out”. All this is based on one anonymous source the gossip rag Page Six claims to have from WB (that’s the Page Six that invested so much time trying to run lying smear campaigns against Weinstein’s victims).
Ignoring the fact that there’s no way anyone high up enough at WB to have this kind of

YAS thank you!!

Wait, so this article literally states that Brett Ratner and Warner Bros. have already parted company almost a month ago. So what exactly is Gadot supposedly demanding he not be involved with Wonder Woman 2 supposed to accomplish when he’s already been ousted from the company?
He no longer has anything to do with WB,

Kinja is the absolute worst comments system ever conceived. I hate using it with a fiery passion. That immediacy you get replying with Disqus is totally lost as comments sit in the limbo of moderation greyed-out ‘pending’ for hours, or never exit it at all. It’s awkward, the nesting is an eyesore, and that fantastic
