I have so much crap to play that I totally forgot that I wanted Astral Chain.  Not to mention the games I’ve added to my Want list since I started reading these top 10's.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. It’s firmly in my “it’s something to put on” category, but barely. It’s cool that the people that like the source material enjoy it, but to me Geralt is a cool character who seems like he’s fighting for screen time. Jaskier is incredibly annoying, so of course everyone says he’s awesome.

I got it on Switch so I could actually make some progress in it.  Before I would retreat to my cave and put 2-3 hours in, never really getting anywhere.  At least the Switch lets me grab it and play a little here and there, chipping away.  Doesn’t look great but it’s better than never getting through it.

How about putting an egg on everything?  There are so many dishes at restaurants now that inexplicably have an egg on them.  Tacos, burgers, anything.

I’ve really enjoyed these personal lists. They’re much better than the site-wide lists that are usually done. I like hearing some individuals opinions, often about games I’m not familiar with. I will be getting Disco Elysium in some form based on all the people that picked it.

Hey at least you’re honest.  That’s more than most people, many of which like to finger wag any time Amazon is brought up but still slyly keep their Prime subscription.  I hope to be done with it this year but I think you are right:  cold turkey is probably the way to go.

Oh for sure, but I also think the concerns about a monopoly and treating your employees almost like sweat shop workers are not anywhere near a concern at those other places compared to Amazon, and that’s even giving consideration to how much Wal-Mart was exposed/attacked awhile back.

“Nothing on there I can’t find at Target, Walmart......”

Someone else saying they hate Soulsborne game design without any caveats made my day.

I personally like to experience the art as intended. Most people seem to agree, which is why hating spoilers is a no-brainer unless you got pretty damn far out of your way.  Does it matter in the grand scheme of things?  No, but neither does 95% of what’s posted on this website.  In the context of the hobbies

That was my worry when I saw this. That there’s some kind of trend being attempted at making spoilers okay and commonplace.

Wow it may actually release some day finally.  What an achievement.

I liked that take as well. It’s a good game and it’s nice to have the option to go balls deep on all the stat-building and relationships, but it felt a little “big but hollow” to me. Sure, you can have tea with other people, but it’s so half-assed that I hesitate to even call it a mini-game. You can train with a lot

I really don’t mean to sound holier than thou but it is amazing to me that people still think these TV features are legitimate innovations. It’s all just companies desperate to find ways for you to buy a new TV more than ever 5+ years. The curved TV was always stupid. I think sports looked great on the 3D ones, but am

Exactly.  Because cash if even more low effort than gift cards, and I like gift cards.  At least you can tailor them to a person you give them to.

Some people think that kids making memes out of something for a couple days qualifies as a “debacle”.

Is this Western Kojima?

This is certainly a list of video games.

It was released four years ago and people bring it up all the time.

Yeah for me the reason it didn’t resonate as much is that I almost felt like I paid $60 to play Bioshock DLC. For as much as the sequel seemed like it would be different, it felt almost exactly the same.
