Except….no? Why not engage with what was said? If you’ve played the game you should know what the OP is saying. The game introduces you to all kinds of minorities you barely otherwise interact with, in mostly rapid fire, self-aware fashion and thinks it’s done it’s good deed. Meanwhile the core of the gameplay is

Some wild takes in here like this one. This is a net negative in terms of PR for Microsoft, but how over the top did you try to go here? Be honest. I mean you’re talking about preserving mass-produced controllers that are forwards and backwards compatible and will likely continue to be. There are freaking Atari

You can be anti-corporate without twisting people’s words and exaggerating like you’re doing here. A “crack down on poor people” is such an overly dramatic take, and the guy you’re responding to didn’t say anything like what you think you’re replying to. I don’t like the move by MS but you’re off the rails here.

Exactly. The fact they they say you have to “lug around a bunch of physical carts” is a tip off this person isn’t familiar with their products but commented anyways.

There’s just something between Mario and Lego that’s just not meshing for me here. Other than the sheer size of some of the play sets, they just look like something you’d stumble on in a market in Taiwan or somewhere and take home with you as an oddity.

I got a call to “confirm” my pre-order for Doom and I swear he said they were releasing it Thursday but not til 8pm.  Can anyone corroborate?

Exactly.  Why is there this weird trend where every popular game gets fans that keep going “I just have to mention how underrated it is”?  Like, no one is arguing with you.  You just want to bring up a game you like.

Remember when you and all you friends insisted that the the movie Alien shaped video games forever? No? Neither do I.

I finally clicked on one of these “Popular streamer does something” articles to see how it felt. My reaction was predictably nonplussed at first. Then I got to the part where I was informed that there is a streamer-hosted event like The Bachelor but with streaming personalities. Never again.

I read the first volume of Monstress. It’s good! The story was a bit confusing/cluttered, but overall the book was inventive and the artwork and character designs were mind-blowing in my opinion.

I might’ve been too young and inattentive to enjoy Red Mars.  I bailed on it.  I’ve never loved hard sci-fi though.

That’s what I said to myself after trying to read it actually ;)

I’m reading the first book in The Expanse saga. 100 pages in I really like it so far. I needed some stuff to read besides heavy non-fiction and this really hit the spot. Just a really good sci-fi in space. Exactly what the doctor ordered.

Seems like there should be a mention of what the new button in the middle does? I can’t quite tell what the symbol is/means.

It’s nice that about half of the comments are talking about the actual article.  One day we’ll get up near 100%.

This kind of reminds me of when you Google a wrestler you used to like back in the day.

I know.  That game should be talked about way, way more than it is.

You’re responding to a cleaning expert so I have to assume you are wrong ;)

Please don’t do this.  As someone who loves sports and video games, I’m constantly being told I’m either a nerd or a “sportsball” fan.  It’s just two sides of the same coin where other people tell you what you’re allowed to like, and let’s not pretend like pop culture fans don’t argue like crazy about what they think

I used the term once and now you’re making your own claims on what it means. I went on to say literally that “if you’re a liberal I don’t know why you wouldn’t at least consider Bernie.” You’ve mischaracterized what I’m saying twice now. I didn’t even say it beyond a single time in my original post but you’re still
