You’re gradually changing the subject. People’s contention is with your assertion that Gygax, Stan Lee, and I would presume you would even say Steve Jobs, as “mediocre and not terribly creative”. It’s a downright laughable assertion.

I just don’t think the Switch lends itself well to these special editions. They all have unique but unspectacular Joycons and a vague design on the dock, which no one sees or pays attention to anyways.

The dock scratching was a thing for about 10 legit cases and a bunch of people that don’t take care of their shit.  You’re in the vast minority.

A lot of people here skewing towards the negative and really showing their true colors (i.e., just wanna complain).

Going by the current rate, so that’d be $100 for a new pair of Joycons if they did bring this over ($50 apiece separate as of now)?  Steep.

You also don’t remember every kid lamenting the home version once they took it home and compared it to the arcade cab.  I mean, people still bitch to this day about the Atari version of Pac-Man and the lack of co-op in Double Dragon on the NES.

And Red Dead can be had for about $10 now because it’s old as hell, and the hardware it ran on has been obsolete for 6 years now by the manufacturers’ own standards. No Moss Burger?  Kidding of course.  Even as a filthy American who enjoys fast food and the like I found them to be incredibly subpar even relatively speaking.

I agree and I’m tired of some people acting like “but it’s on the go!” is some kind of trump card, regardless of whether the game looks or plays like shit. Just wait for the price on this game too. That’ll be a whole other story given that it’s so obviously inferior, even as far as Switch ports go.

So true, and I enjoyed the gameplay as well, especially at the time when I really enjoyed MGS and craved some more.  The game seems forgotten almost, and maybe it’s just overshadowed by the main titles, but it’s a really fun game.

After watching the trailer, I’m pretty sure that (thing from the trailer) will represent (something that doesn’t really make sense but sounds deep ).
